1. GENSoftware and the wider GEN ecosystem

GENSoftware is an operational division of GEN, one of Britain’s most established full-service IT providers. Working with GENSoftware means more than software delivery alone: customers also benefit from the strength of a broader organisation spanning connectivity, infrastructure, hosting, security, and managed services expertise.

Because GENSoftware services are integrated into GEN’s core customer platform and identity model, onboarding is completed through a GEN customer relationship first. This enables secure SSO-based access, streamlined account management, and consistent support across all the services you use with us.

2. The onboarding process

Our onboarding journey is designed to be clear and collaborative from day one. The typical process is:

  • Contact GEN through our Contact page to begin the conversation.
  • Be assigned a dedicated account manager as your primary point of contact.
  • Discuss your goals, technical requirements, delivery expectations, and commercial needs.
  • Complete registration as a GEN customer and finalise onboarding details.
  • Have your GENSoftware projects provisioned and user access created.

3. Life after onboarding

Once onboarding is complete, your teams can move forward with confidence. You’ll have access to the GENSupport portal for service requests and visibility, plus the Mantis system for direct interaction with our developers and architects.

The result is a connected, transparent working model where ideas, delivery, and support stay aligned, helping you move from initial requirements to long term success.
